Hilton Newark Penn Station Reviews
Affordable alternative to Manhattan with Brilliant Location Jul 26, 2011
Leading up to our recent visit to NYC, we were looking for a hotel and were discouraged (as always) by the high rates in both Manhattan and Queens. Because of this, we sought alternatives. Low and behold, we found that we could stay at the Hilton in Newark for little over $100 and take the PATH or NJtransit train directly into Manhattan. This only requires a 2 minute walk across the street and through PENN Station. (Did I mention the PATH Train only costs $1.75 each way and runs throughout the night!)
The Hotel itself was nice, but there nothing remarkable worth noting. Location, Location, Location.
If you want to avoid the premium price of a hotel in Manhattan and the Parking prices that come with, check out this hotel! Hope this helps!
