Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa
Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa Reviews
The Best Starwood Property in Moorea (and currently the only) Aug 08, 2008
Wonderful place to stay in Moorea. We had a beach bungalow, which was an upgrade since we had Gold status at the time. I was hoping for an overwater bungalow, but really the beach bungalow suited us just fine!
It was actually nice, and I think more private than the overwater bungalows. Ours was right on the edge of the property line, so we had less neighbors. But Moorea was wonderful. We pretty much stayed at the resort the whole time, and didn't wander much around the island. We attended a luau and that was wonderful! My husband was chosen to dance with the younger dancers... it was so cute! And there was a very wide variety of food at the luau. There was plenty of watersports to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the kayaking. The water is crystal clear and only about 4 feet deep, so you could see all the beautiful fish up close. We kayakaed about 5 hours one day over the Cook Bay - - it was great! The swimming pool was really nice, but we never used it. We just lounged under the palapa by the water. When we go back to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sheraton. But next time, we'll also check out the island more. |
