Not Impressed Nov 15, 2008
Okay, so it was a group of four rooms, with four vehicles with all charges going to one credit card. Nothing extra, just the basics. Mostly simple right? HA
I’m glad I was only here for one night. The headaches started at check in when the front desk person didn’t speak very good English, and said no one else was available to help when my mother asked. For the record, there were six people behind the desk and only three were busy. We had to repeat to him four times who where in the rooms and that all the bills were on one credit card. He wanted to change everything around and bill each room separately, ever time. Also told us everyone else had checked in when we were the first to arrive. Then we find out everyone is on different floors, after he told us all the rooms were together. In my room, the shower drain was clogged and no one came to fix it even after we called two times. The water did drain over night, but when I used it the next morning the water was a good 4 5 inches deep once I was done. Again, the tub did not drain correctly. Picking up our cars was another nightmare. My mother thought it would be easy to just do the upstairs check out/ call valet thing so the cars would be ready to go when we got down stairs. No… the woman in charge of the keys did not like that and held everyone up for 20 minutes while she called and verified everything and then tried to double charge my family 3 times. Then after all that was said and done, she lost the tickets that the keys went with. Therefore, 40 minutes after we checked out, we were finally on the road. Aside from the personal, the hotel was very nice. The room was very clean as was the bathroom – till the drain clogged. I did not even care about the out renovations that were going on. If the people we dealt with had been much friendlier then it would have been a better experience, but they were not and I am happy I was only there for one night. |
