Hilton Hotel Toronto Airport - Reviews - Toronto

Being a business and leisure traveler I am going to occasionaly post reviews of 'business' type hotels for those that do travel on business.

Based on your corporate rate the Hilton could be a very good option with an excellet location in downtown Toronto. It is only 10 minute walk the CN tower, very close to Rogers Arena, and access to a lot of various office and goverment buildings within minutes.

The hotel itself has recently been refurbished in its public areas and most of the floors. As of March 2007 - not all of the floors have been refurbished so be sure to ask for a room or a floor that has.

The hotel has 3 restaurants and a bar - but 2 of the restaurants have bars, plus there is a Ruths Chris Steakhouse on-site just outside the hotel's convention area.


Rooms

The newly refurbished rooms are very well appointed. Pictures have been posted below. However, staying on the 26th floor I was quite suprised at the amount of city noise that I could hear in the room - even at night. This may be due to the close proximity of other buildings being close and the 'funneling' of the noise upwards. However, I stay in many large cities and rarely experience this problem as I usually request a high floor for this specific reason.

Parking

As with any major metropolitan city parking is expensive - regardless of city. Parking is around $30CAD per night.
