Hilton Hotel North Newbury

Another Hilton out in the middle of nowhere. Aside from the motorway for easy access by businessmen, there's not much going on around here. The hotel itself is a 2 story 30 year old brick building, nothing special to see, and nothing special around to do. The hotel has recently done a reno on some of the rooms and will be shortly overhauling their lobby, lounge, and restaurant later this year. The new rooms are quite nice with a modern/retro look and quite spacious and certainly clean. Downside to this hotel is the lack of an elevator. Although only 2 stories, it might be a challenge for some visitors with lots of luggage as most of the staterooms are on the 2nd floor. During the weekday, the restaurant and lounge area are VERY busy. It is literally crowded with businessmen making deals and the large space can be quite noisy. There are no large ballrooms with this location so look elsewhere for your lavish evening balls, however there are half a dozen meeting and boardrooms to hold your meetings.
