We booked this hotel through Priceline for $150/night. We had an easy check in and when I told the receptionist that it was our Anniversary, she made sure to give us a oversized King room on the 11th floor. The room had high ceilings and very classy furniture. The bed was incredibly comfortable with a huge pillowtop mattress, very luxurious sheets, a down comforter and tons of pillows. We had a very restful sleep and didn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms or the hallway.

The bathroom was granite and marble with excellent lighting and it featured Crabtree & Evelyn products which were very pampering. The shower had a wonderful large Kohler shower head and the shower curtain bowed out to make the shower feel extra large.

We ordered breakfast in bed which arrived on time. It was good, not excellent. Maybe it's hard to keep the food hot by the time they reach the 11th floor, but it was just luke warm. The coffee was good.

All of the staff was very pleasant and offered any help we needed.

One thing that we were disappointed with was that it costs $10 to connect to the internet...and this is a business hotel!

The speed dial buttons to front desk, etc. didn't work on the phone by the bed, and there was a cordless phone on the desk that the handset didn't work. So, we had to use speakerphone to call the front desk. But it was a minor problem for us.

We thought this hotel was in a very good location. It's close to the Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall area. Once you are in this area, the Aquarium and the North End are very close. It's also close to Downtown Crossing which has good shopping. Boston is a small city and so easy to get around in that we found it to be close enough to pretty much everything. We are active so we don't mind walking. We found it to be a nice walk even to Newbury and Boylston Streets.

There are great restaurants and bars on every street. I would definitely recommend a dinner on Hanover Street in the North End (Boston's very authentic "Little Italy") We made reservations at Dolce Vita and had a wonderful night! We felt like we were in Italy when we were sereneded by two Italian singers, one playing the accordian and one playing the guitar. This restaurant had such good food and atmosphere and happened to be very reasonably priced. Don't miss the North End!

All in all, we loved staying at this Hilton and had a wonderful time.
The very comfy bed
Gorgeous bathroom with Crabtree
