Two nights of 4 star Jun 06, 2005
At the Hilton Hotel in Dublin we spent two nights. This is a large clean facility and I am sure rated 4 stars. Out in front is the Grand Canal and an entrance stairway to the Tram system. And for the first time on our trip we had an air conditioned room. Our room was large and well equipped. The staff were helpful and even the concierge desk staff gave us some good information. Only breakfasts were part of our tour so we got information about were to find good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Hilton Hotel in Dublin is out near the Grand Canal, so it's at least a fifteen minute walk into the town centre area. Or, you can take the tram, which has a stop at the top of the stairs right outside the front door of the hotel. The hotel is quite large, clean and rates the high star rating it has been given. The room was good sized, the bed was excellent, and the other amenities included air conditioning. The concierge desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable. We spent two nights in this hotel and enjoyed the stay. Only breakfasts were a part of our tour and we ate out both evenings.

The GPS also got a bit confused on other trips -
it thought I was driving through fields for twenty minutes, instead of
the main N road. Stayed at an expensive hotel - Hilton..... I
was tired, it was raining and I really couldn't be bothered to find a
reasonable hotel.

We are staying at the Hilton Hotel and it is modern, nice and clean. We decide to rest for an hour before going out for dinner.
We asked at the consierge desk and they suggested a good asian meal could be had at Wong’s Chinese Restaurant about a half… Dublin |
