Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Denver (Colorado)

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn this past week during the Sportaccord 2009 (a large international sports convention). I was very pleased with the friendly staff and the spacious rooms. The hotel is only a block away from the 16th street mall, restaurants, and the Colorado Convention Center. It is also very close to the Pepsi Center. **To avoid paying for parking at the Pepsi Center simply walk to the 16th street mall, hop on one of the frequent FREE mall shuttles, take it to the Wynkoop stop, and then take a short 5 min walk right over to the Pepsi Center. Unless it is freezing out saving the extra $15-20 for parking is worth it!**

The staff at the hotel was very nice and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. They even have workout kits that you can check out so you can work out in the privacy of your own room.

Pi which is the restaurant located in the hotel is also very good. I only ate breakfast here, which was a bit pricy, but it was the best breakfast I have had in a while.

The only bad thing about this hotel (along with most of the other hotels in downtown Denver) is that you have to pay to valet your car.
