Hillsboro - Hillsboro - TravBuddy

I had never been to any other state than that of which I live, California. So, when the oppotunity came to be to drive up to Oregon, my Junior year of college... I jumped on it. I loved it there. Hillsboro is as I see it, a quaint town. At least the part of it that I was in. Everyone I met was completely and totally nice and welcoming. I loved the cool and rainy weather. It definitely beat the weather in Los Angeles.

If you make your way to Oregon, be sure to go to Winema beach. It is a beautiful bit of coastline! Maybe you can also get a tour of the Intel(?) plant... that was a neat experience.

AND.... if you are going to be in Oregon... then you better go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Tillamook is only the best cheese ever!! You get a tour, read about the history, and try out different cheeses. After that you can buy a bunch of cheese and tillamook accessories. Don't forget to try out their amazing ice cream!!
