Hillend is an artificial snowslope in Edinburgh. Equipment can be hired at the slope. It has tow-lifts and chair-lifts so getting up the hill is really easy. I have to admit it feels nothing like snow, it is a kind of fibreglass surface but it is very good for ski/snowboarding down. There is also a baby slope for beginners and a jump section if you are really good and want to learn some tricks.
Only thing I would say is def wear gloves and try not to fall...it is not snow, it really hurts!! |
