Highlands of Scotland Reviews

Jan 26, 2008
I visited the highlands of Scotland for the first time this year. Wow! The magnificent scenery, wonderful friendly people and the fantastic range of things to do, what more can you say! Why has no one told me about this amazing part of the united kingdom? This is indeed a very well kept secret. We swam with seals in the moray firth, with wet suites of course, met raindear in the Cairngorms national park and tried our very best to spot the Lochness monster. Whiskey, well there's a subject. I never knew there were so many different makers and that you could "nose" a whiskey and savour it's taste just like a very expensive bottle of wine! A great holiday and a magical place to visit.
