Hike the Hickman Bridge trail May 09, 2007
The Hickman Bridge trail is a moderately easy (some up and downs) mile-long trail leading from the trailhead at Highway 24, crossing the Fremont River, to Hickman Natural Bridge, a 130 feet wide (125 ft high) arch (not bridge, there's no water flowing beneath it) at the end of a beautiful canyon. The trail loops beneath the bridge/arch. At the beginning of the trail a brochure is available, pointing out some points of interest (like the remains of a Fremont village) along the trail.
