This is the biggest annual festival in Fiji. It is one week of rides, local food and entertainment in Suva City. the Festival always happens in August and marks the first week of school holidays in Fiji. It is definitely an experience with all types of people flocking to the grounds to enjoy the many food stalls, carnival games, pageants (the most significant the Miss Hibiscus crown) and much more.

The downside, as with all crowded areas, is the few opportunists that may find a way to pick-pocket you, and the occasional wanna be singer that really should not be given any stage, lol.

All in all, a great event and all for charity.
