Hi-Sukhumvit Guesthouse

I booked this budget hostel online. I have absoulutely no regrets, n will highly recommend it 2 anyone. Though the price I paid (abt THB350/nite) for female dorm (4 beds) is slightly more expensive than other budget hostels, but it's really worth the money. Everything in this place is so clean n well maintained - toilets, beds, rooms, rooftop garden, study area, garden at the entrance,etc. The owner is friendly too,and speaks reasonable English. There is also lockers for hire ( sorry I don't rmbr the rental but it's cheap), and u get a security card 4 d entrance door 2 d staircase which lead 2 different rooms on different floors.

The location is good too, close to Thong Lo BTS (train)station.The locationmap is on the website which is very comprehensive n informative.Oh yeah, u can cook at their kitchen n use their fridge to store a bit of food (not too much pls, they may charge u). N there is free breakfast (bread n a few types of fruit jam, n butter)before 9 or 10am, i forgot . There was a day when I actually exceeded d time but the owner was so kind, he said it was ok n allowed me a free b/f. N on d last day I checked out, I even got a small elephant key chain as a souvenir. it may b cheap but it's d thoughts that count. it was a pleasant surprise 2 me.
