Hesperia Troya Hotel

Beware! They will steal your clothes!! The management just shrugs their shoulders. When we found out my skirt I was going to wear for my 25th Wedding Anniversary dinner was missing, they said they would look into it. Unfortunately for us we were to travel home early the next day so they did nothing. We did not get a satisfactory answer from them. I wrote to Hoteles Hesperia's main office in Spain. The reply was is that our employees do not steal--in effect accusing US of lying!! We have compared note with others who happen to be at the hotel the same weeks we were there, and they had things missing too. (When we got home my husband also found out the he had a shirt missing. We were so busy trying to find my skirt, that we didn't pay attention to his clothes!!!)

This hotel has dishonest staff. We liked Tenerife, Playa de las Americas; this however soured a part of our journey. Too bad one cannot rent a safe for ALL ONE's POSSESSIONS! You will have fun in Tenerife, but do NOT STAY at Park Hotel Hesperia Troya--Expensive for what you get (and get stolen). :-)
