After our last trip which ended in November 2006, we were quite ready for our "normal" lives in Amsterdam. But once you're stung by the travel bug, it will start itching again soon enough. And when scratching didn't relieve us, we started making new plans in the beginning of 2008. After a short period of preparing -basically we only bought a ticket to Capetown- we left Amsterdam on the 11th of June 2008. On this blog you'll find our route of our travelling as we go along.

I shipped my Land Rover Discovery to Cape Town and three months later I parked it for a while in Livingstone, Zambia. Along the way I travelled through South Africa, Leshoto, Swaziland, Namibia and Botswana.

In Feb. and March 2007 I spent about 2 months in Cape Town doing some volunteering at the World Burn Foundation. I was working on weekdays and traveling at the weekends. Here are some of the pictures of the awesome area of the Western Cape - hope you enjoy them! :-)
