Shanghai, China -› Luoyang, China -› ...
The breakfast was real good here, compared to yesterday's fiasco it was really relaxed. The weather was getting better, still we have not seen any blue skies, but smoggy or cloudy, but it was a bit warmer today. We went out of Zhengchou to see the Yellow River. We went on the airboats (highly recommended, even though it cost 65 RMB per person) to go to some sandbars in the middle of the river. I stayed a nice little Hotel. I have a bit of a hard time checking in because I speak no Chines...

I was 17, and excited to be embarking on my first overseas trip without my family. Culture shock, straight up. It was a really valuable trip; I learned and saw a lot. But it was HOT, and Hong Kong was depressing. I ended up taking off a week earlier than planned. I will be back one day.
