Very nice, near perfect hotel. Nov 23, 2011
I was staying there with my gf, from 7/11/11 to 15/11/11. What i expected from the reviews i read before i go was a bad, ready to demolish hotel.
What i got was a perfect hotel. My experiance: I was staying in a very nice room with a window, no aircondition (but it was always warm) and the room-cleaners cleaned EVERY single day our room and changed bath towels, toilet papper etc. The reception guys were all very friendly and nice. I think that all of the negative comments for that hotel are comming from competitors (becouse it really is the cheapest choice for everyone) or "high class mofos" who wanted a private whore i their room to be satisfied. Also our room (dont know about others) were big enough. They also offer free safe-box. My stay there was just excelent. On the negative side, the walls were very thin, you hear even a fart from the next room, but it never bothered us, never noise or etc. Another negative (if you could say that) is that this hotel is NON-SMOKE for all the rooms, but it was no problem. Uh, and the internet is kinda costy (10e for 24h) Another thing, not a negative, is that its 10-15 mins with the tram from the centrum, but i liked that too, its a very nice place, and its a lidl in 50 meters. As of the prison like setup. BS! All the big hotels have about the same setup. Very nice hotel and fully recomended. |

Cheap accomodation in Amsterdam Apr 10, 2011
The tram stop is 5 minutes walk. The center is about 5 stops. The hotel is quite clean, but everything is there to hear it. When the great wind, it shook the whole:-D The downside is paid wifi. Breakfast is paid, but worth it.

don't get trapped here Jan 17, 2010
This hotel often gives bargain prices but once you arrive you will be disappointed. The location is in the middle of nowhere and transportation to the city center is limited; a long walk to the tram stop to get anywhere. It is a spot for tour groups who stay and get on the bus to drive around town to the next spot. ( I was one of them once) Rooms are a good size and breakfast cafeteria not too bad. Hotel seems to be in a state of repair constantly and oddly planned corridors and enclosed spaces - confusing. There is an annex of sorts in the parking lot with rooms stacked up there...? could not figure that out. Biggest minus is location. I know A'dam very well having lived there for a year and I could not tell you how to get to this remote location.
