The real name of this Museum is : "Helmut Newton Stiftung/Museum für Fotografie" and its located at Jebsen Strasse 2 close to the the U-bahn station Zoologischer Garten.
This Museum does contain 250 of Helmut Newtons best. They have over 1000 pictures , but only 250 are included in the exhibit as the pictures are being changed at regular intervals. It also contains a replica of his living room with statues of female leg's among other things Helmut's lifelong fascination of the female body surely reflected through this exhibit. Many of the pictures are absolutely stunning , others is very provocative and I would go as far and call two pictures that i would classify as porn. I think the photographer got just the reaction he was going for, but using the means of a woman performing oral sex on a man might be a little extreme for someone. Its not allowed to take pictures inside and there are pictures online, but im not about the Travbuddy's opinion on naked women.  Part of the Europe Winter 2008 - Under construction travel blog |
