Hedemora Vacation Guide

Hedemora is a small quite town aproximently 158 Kilometers North West of Stockholm. This is a typical Swedish town with not much going on other than the daily lives of the 17,000 people that live there.
There is a open air museum with a collection of old Swedish builings and houses, an art gallery which use to be an old bath house, and a big stone church from the beginning of the 14th century.
There are also two lakes near by for fishing and swiming depending on the time of year. Near by Lake Hovran, a lake famous for its birdlife has some 170 different species of birds, and tbere are bird watching towers built around the lake.
