I was nervous. The plane rolled. My instructor told me to position myself. I saw my friend she was gone in a flash. Before I knew it, the plane rolled again and I was falling. Exhilirating. The cold and mist rushing past me. Then the gentle float towards the earth. It was all too short.

Hazleton was another of them coal towns--now it has become a minor warehousing hub which have kept the city from dying out.  In fact--it was a popular destination for Latino immigrants until the mayor decided to try to come down hard on illegal or seemingly illegal immigrants.  Now, many of those immigrants have left.
