My most recent trip was to Hawaii, in one day you could walk in snow at the top of a volcano, see a rain forest and walk on a beach.

Makaha Beach. It rained most of my two weeks on the Island. Didn't take that many pics. I had an amazing hour long visit with the China Town Museum Professor. Touring China was one of the highlights. I found the best Asian food spots. Toured the Aloha Stadium Swap meet twice. Walked all the way around, plus up the hill back home...great work out. Sarongs are $5 and nice. I was tired of the city traffic towards the end of my trip, but had an amazing time.

The most challenging part of moving to Hawaii from New York was finding a place to live. The Big Island was so spread out if would neccesitate having a car. Kuau'i gave my the creeps, and there wasn't nearly enough semblance of metropolitan society there (What can I say, we were coming from NYC, …

cruised from ensanada to auckland via hawaii and french polynesia with celebrity 11/07.can recommend as long as you enjoy days at sea as well as island hopping.

The beautiful Kipahulu, serene and peaceful, even the roads were blocked at the time to parts of the town.

We like to take special trips every once in awhile. Since we were back in the states this anniversary we decided to take a trip to Hawaii. We had a great time on this trip, and encourage everyone to visit this fabulous vacation spot.

It started innocently enough; I visited Juneau, Alaska in June 1993 and explored the State Capitol building. A few months later, It was Montgomery, Alabama's. In the course of time, it became a hobby. Near the end it became a bit of an obsession. Then, in August of 2006, I visited my 50th US State Capitol building in Pierre, SD. (Yeh!) Yes, I know, I'm a geography nerd.... All entries are maintained in on the 'first visit' date.

We left Victoria on June 2nd and went to San Fransisco (my favorite american city) then off to Hawaii (AGAIN!!! Very tired of that place!) then off to Sasebo Japan, Shanghai China, Qingdao China, Chinhae (Puson) Korea, Tokyo Japan and finished off at Dutch Harbour Alaska before getting home on Sept 15th.

1st trip to Hawaii.. very exciting.. tried to do anything and everything I can think of possible to do on those islands.. Just say YES!! lol
