We have everything, almost, in order to leave. We are just waiting to fly out, but first, I have to ship my car... yeah!

A Quick trip to Kauai - Hawaii

Kris and I spent a week on the big island and went to Keck Observatory, the volcano park, and dig some scuba diving.

Friendship left to be desired, the nautral, raw beauty of the island of Kauai is amazing. If I were to ever return, I would have to stop there for at least 2 days! It is an island of beauty, not one of industry, and is definitely worth the plane ride. You lucky people who have first class!!! The Na Pali Coast must be visited, preferable on a catamaran, and you have to sit at the front of it of course!!! Make sure to go with the right people and explore the island!

My first time in Hawaii!!! I had a blast! Hawaii is a must place to go as you all know already! Make sure to stop by Matsumoto's Shave Ice at North Shore! Celebrities go there for the treat!!! Enjoy the pics!!!

I was in Hawaii for a v cool seminar, 'Consuming Cultures: Change, Tradition and Choice in Asia and the Pacific' organized by the United Nations University and the School of Hawaiian, Asian and Pacific Studies. Not as cool as Waikiki Beach tho! (where I managed to get both a golden tan AND a marriage proposal) :D

a solo journey: first island is maui [july 27th, 2009-august 4th,2009].

The airport has "Aloha" on the control tower.  The fact that the plane was delayed an hour was somehow made okay by the "Aloha!"  The fact that there was nowhere to get good was okay because they said "Aloha."I am *so* going back there.  To visit I mean, connecting planes was boring.
