I am in USA 2 years now and have traveled through several states ...Las Vegas NV, San Francisco and Bay areas CA, Vail Colorado, Wisconsin, Virginia, Washington DC, Chicago & Evanston IL, Providence RI, Brookings OR, and Maui Hawaii WaiKiki Honolulu and Keanae. These travels were a wonderful experience in my life whom came from a small country like Lao PDR.

This was a trip taken back in May 2007. It was GREAT walking around on the lava and watching how life started to grow on the desolate lava rocks.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see the Volcano erupt. It was too far of a hike.
This is also the time when I realized that I'm no longer an "island girl" because I got sunburned! I never used to get sunburned but I guess that's what happens after living in the city for so long!

Great trip. Stayed downtown at a wonderful hotel (forget name) and toured Pearl Harbor (soo humbling but a must see) and ate tons of seafood!
