Our flight from of Honolulu was due out at 0915 this morning so we had an early start to be at the airport 2 hours prior to check in. Independence Day fireworks at Foster Point on Hickam AFB, Hawaii.  This was our last fireworks while we lived in Hawaii.  One year the base Services hired the local Hawaiian band, Ka`au Crater Boys to play on July 4th which was a great treat since we really enjoy their music and have several of their albums.

After my last hike, I said I would have to experience the Haiku Stairs again. After all.... I forgot to charge my camera the last time and missed out on taking pictures at the summit.
