Today we decided to spend the morning snorkling at Hanauma Bay. We have famliy visiting for a week and thought this would be a great activity for everyone. Indeed it was. Before going down to into the bay, you have to watch a nine minute movie concerning the conservation efforts at the reef. I decided to stay in this wonderful paradise and never to return to the main-land ( as they call the continent from here). The people and beauty of the Islands are so powerful that I am sure you will feel the same. The Best part of Honolulu is that you have both city life as well as the incredible peacefulness of long streches of untouched beaches and rain forrest. I dare you to visit and experience true life!

Today is the day I've been so excited about, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay!  Best snorkeling on Earth they say!  Crystal clear, calm waters they say!  Not today.  Cloudy, windy skies and cloudy rough water at the bay.  A big swell came in this morning and the seas are rough.  They bay is defnitely beatiful, and I can't wait to snorkel it again when it's calm, but I had a hard time out there.  I am obviously doing this alone, which isn't the smartest thing in the...
