Havana welcomed us with rather bleak sight. Although I remember last years of communism in Poland, what I saw there has really shocked me. The area where the airport was, seemed to be quite industrial in the most negative meaning of this word.

Varadero, Cuba -› Jibacoa, Cuba -› …
Stayed at an all inclusive resort an hour or so away from Varadero in an area called Jibacoa. It was basically farm land, and a couple secluded resorts. Very private!
