I visited Cuba in 2005.I went to a large hotel in Varadero,a tourist-based town with very little of the real Cuba.However, if you like the beach, it is fabulous here. I also visited Havana during my stay in Cuba.Away from Varadero,the poverty becomes evident & people beg even though by law they're not allowed to bother tourists.Havana is a city full of old Spanish architecture & buildings,many of which have fallen into disrepair. The Cuban people are some of the friendliest I have ever met.

I traveled for about 5 months. I started in Brazil where i relaxed on the beach after a long period of graduating and hard work for 8 months, then continued to Argentina, back to Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, back to Peru :), Cuba, Mexico, United States, Peru (!) to end in United States

Went to Cuba for some sun and salsa. And rum.

Cuba is one of my favorite places to go (can't you tell). It gives me a chance to unwind and recharge and its beaches are breathtaking.

I had my first big trip in july 2007, from july 7th to august 7th. Manaus, Havana and a cool week in São Paulo. Cuba was amazing, everything went perfect. I definitely want to go back someday, to explore more of its history and contradiciones.

Habana Centro is located between Habana Vieja and Barrio Vedado.  Tourists tend not to linger in this barrio; it is a working class neighborhood.  It has a mix of architectural influences, with many buildings of historical value in an advanced state of disrepair.

From Cancun we made a side trip to Havana, Cuba. Cancun was full of adventure and surprises. Aqua adventure was superb! Havana was lively. Had great time enjoying the sights and sounds of Cuban music!

It was amazing......I won this trip with a quiz!!! I asked my friend Margarita to come with me and we spent 10 days in Varadero. It's not the most spectaculair place in Cuba, but we were free to go... Havanna was great!! Really really nice people. We slept in a casa particulaire in the centre of Hanvanna...

A Very lively and friendly place, would definately go back there. Swam with the dolphins and saw one of my friends get married. Spent 3 days in Havana and 7 days in Varedero
