Hat Trick Lodge Reviews

Hat Trick Lodge, Back Packers Mar 15, 2008
We who have never really stayed in Backpackers were looking for affordable accommodation in Motueka, when we discovered the nearly brand new, Hat Trick Lodge with its sign out advertising cheap rooms, we went in and found we could rent a lovely sunny twin room for $50 a night. There was no en suite but the facilities were just across the hallway from our room so it didn't matter. The beds were comfortable and there was a hand basin in the room for our use.
What we really enjoyed was breakfasting in the huge communal kitchen/dining room with its balconys on two sides. There were people from a dozen different countrys to talk to and eat with while sitting in the sunshine.
Some of the young er folk partied on for a time in the evening but not so loudly as to annoy us, its nice to hear them enjoy themselves.
Altogether we enjoyed our stay so much we stayed a couple more nights and enjoyed what Motueka had to ofter in the way of entertainment.
We can recommend the Hat Trick Lodge to everyone, young or older.
