It had been way, way too long since I'd seen my wonderful Aunt Linda; one of the best women I've ever met, so I grabbed the chance to take a quick trip to Harrisburg to spend the night visiting with her. It took me a while to get there (silly Amanda ended up on the wrong road, so I was stuck with traffic lights for a ton of the way) but finally, I arrived at my Aunt's door!!!
It was a wonderful time start to finish. She made us dinner, (is there ever a more peaceful place than yo...

Over the years I have been stationed many places during my military career. Therefore when I get home, I get together with my family and travel with them locally or take long trips with them and take as many photos as possible. I have so many photo albums, it will take a while for me to get these photos in some type of order of date sequence. Enjoy......

It started innocently enough; I visited Juneau, Alaska in June 1993 and explored the State Capitol building. A few months later, It was Montgomery, Alabama's. In the course of time, it became a hobby. Near the end it became a bit of an obsession. Then, in August of 2006, I visited my 50th US State Capitol building in Pierre, SD. (Yeh!)
Yes, I know, I'm a geography nerd....
All entries are maintained in on the 'first visit' date.

I didn't come home that often, but I tried to as often as I could since my grandmother was getting older and I liked to have fun and spend quality time with her before she was bedridden.....
She had a little step stool that we would borrow, we would wheel chair her out to the Jeep and step her up into the Jeep. She loved riding in the Jeep!!!
May God bless her in heaven now!!!

I have never walked around Harrisburg before, which is sad since it is PA's capital. We were there on a Sunday, and we were pretty much the only tourists walking around, and weirdos starting following us, so it didn't seem very safe where we were at and because of this, we didn't stay for long.

This was supposed to be a trip to visit universities in Canada and it turned into one big gigantic road trip.
And hey, I go to school in Canada, so I guess things worked out.
