Fun to visit Mar 09, 2012
Had a great stay here. Nice location on the island to get around. There are a few sights to go see besides the Casinos. The hike A-Ma statue is nice and worth, though there is a shuttle also.
I had a meal in the dim restaurant out int eh City of Dreams area. Great food. I did also have drinks in the R-Bar of the lobby. Try the Grasshopper or the Naked Virgin, both good drinks for the price. I also tried the Red Nail (mixture of scotch and bitters), nope did not taste too good. Appetizers and snacks are good as well.
Only disappointment for me was the pool was closed for cleaning the days I was there.
Would stay her again!

One of the City of Dreams Hotel May 10, 2010
This stunning Hard Rock Hotel which located in a City of dreams complex ,which across the street from The Venetian Resort...The Hard Rock Hotel have sets the stage for unsurpassed indulgence and unforgettable excitement.
I've got a room which have a pool with the beach & tropical panoramic view .The room design in a modern retro style. But,for me myself still The Venetian Resort's room more better compare to this Hard Rock's room.
At the lobby we can find a legendary Hard Rock Cafe & Hard Rock Souvenir store.Tasteful Decorations,an enormous Casino and plenty of great shopping & restaurants, making the Hotel guest fulfill with their needs.
If you travel with family and bring your kids a long.Don't worry your kids will get bored, because located of the 2nd floor of Hard Rock Hotel is a Kids Land.
The Hard Rock Hotel Macau offers everything the traveler might expect from the luxurious Hotel.

Just in the lobby for some pins Feb 02, 2010
I did not stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in Macau; I only came in to purchase some pins for a friend back in the States. My experience with this hotel is thus somewhat limited. With that in mind, I can say that the lobby is typical of other Hard Rock establishments, ornamentation is Rock and Roll paraphernalia. The Rock Shop (HR gift store) is likewise jammed with Hard Rock memorabilia. The staff was typically friendly and helpful. Without being asked, they showed me which pins were limited edition (more collectible).
The lobby restaurant was still serving a breakfast buffet when I had completed my transaction in the Rock Shop (about 10:30 AM) but they accommodated my request for just 1 beer while I consulted my map and planned my day in Taipa. No, the beer was not cheap but they did provide me with chips.
Speaking of Taipa, Taipa Village is a short walk from the hotel. If you are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, walk past the Venetian Hotel and spend some time in Taipa Village.
