Hard Rock Cafe, Warsaw Aug 08, 2009
Not far away from the Cultural Palace you can find Hard Rock Cafe Warsaw. The cafe follows naturally the concept and is actually a huge place situated on a corner of the shopping centre of the golden waves.
The place is in 3 levels. At street level you have the shop, a bar and outdoor service in some nice summer furniture. This was where took seats and enjoyed a cold drink. On the middle level where you go down the stairs, there is a restaurant and on the 3rd and the bottom level you have a huge bar, a restaurant and further more a large outdoor service. In the bottom level they had decorated one of the walls with 675 guitars, that had been cut in half and put up on the wall like shelves; quite a view. The waiter was sweet but not the fastest in the world but we were in no hurry. Their prices were okay but not in the low end. I walked back towards the Palace of Science and Culture, crossed the street and went into the Hard Rock Cafe for the traditional stuff: a teddy bear for my little sis and a pin for me. Since I was running extremely low on T-shirts, I also bought one of those. Back to the hotel for a shower, a little rest and a drink… Warsaw, day 2... |

After our thorough tour de Culture Palace, we left for the other side of the street and visited the Hard Rock cafe' to have some drinks before we headed further towards the inner city. The Café was quite large and in tree levels but we stayed outside in the sun. The service was a bit slow but when you first had a cold beer… A great day walking the streets of Warsaw |
