Hard Rock Cafe in Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa Aug 03, 2011
I went to the Hard Rock Cafe in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino complex in the Seminole District of Tampa, Florida to meet up with the famous TravBuddy OldSchoolBill. I parked on the 5th floor of the south parking deck and had to walk all the way through the hotel and casino to get to the Hard Rock Cafe (note for next time: park at the North Parking garage).
The food was just OK. I had a "Homestyle South Philly Cheesesteak" which was tiny but tasted good. OSB had the "Twisted Mac Chicken & Cheese" which he seemed to enjoy. Our waitress was great--very young and friendly, who also wanted to enjoy more travelling. She was very patient with us, took our photos and was always offering to bring more drinks until we almost floated away! The Hard Rock Cafe store here was good and the bar had a unique architecture. The high-tech Hard Rock Cafe Tampa sign on the stage with DJ booth was interesting---we even got up on the stage for our photos. The typical "hard rock memorabilia" was everywhere and there were several cool sayings in neon posted. I probably would not come back to this Hard Rock Cafe due to the casino-focused gambling atmosphere, but it was a good place to meet up with a fellow TravBuddy.
