Harcerskie Centrum Edukacji Ekologicznej

Funka is a scout center of “sailing-ecological education”. Every year many students and kids arrive there, to spent time on sailing, hiking and other activities. I never travelled there with a scout’s camp, but my English school always organized trips there.

If you look at the plan in the photo you can see a huge area located at the Charzykowski lake. We were living in the section 1. There were 5 houses called “jolka”. Every house like that had a shower room, toilet and huge entertainment room in the basement. About 25-30 people could live in that house. In this area there was also a pitch and a camp ground where tents was. There was a huge dining building (number 2) in the center of the place. At the lake there were bungalows in which boats and other water-stuff were kept.

Everything is situated in the forest, and it’s really close to Chojnice. About 15 minutes by bus.
