I've been going to sleep really early these past few days, but I guess it's better that I get my recommended 8 hours of sleep by my nutritionist. Well, I called the tour guide and she said the tour doesn't start until the 20th. That means... I got 2 more days to kick it in Tokyo and other parts of …

If you have not been to Yoyogi Park it is a great experience with interesting sights and sounds. Before the salsa club performance we went there to practice. We fit right in with the Greasers, people dressed as maids, Goths, and the occasional man in a bunny suit (he was very nice and l…

The Meji Shrine is located in Harajuku (in Tokyo). This was the first time I visited the shrine and I found it to be so odd and yet peaceful. You get off the train at the Harajuku station and walk over a bridge (here is the odd part) and you walk past these teenagers dressed up. They are dress…

Random Observation/Comment #58: People in Harajuku are just desperate for attention; I think they’re doing it in the most disturbing way possible – these freaks that don’t care if they’re shmoiling as long as they look badass (and they do look pretty badass). After Akihabara, RJ and I went t…

My 5 days stay in Tokyo was one of the most surreal vacations I ever had. The people are way different in a lot of aspects. I was spoilt with beautiful deserted Motu in the South Pacific and amazed at the Japanese culture, its a Country like no other I've ever witnessed, a place I fell in love with and hope to return very soon.

So finally got to Harajuku! I've been wanting to go since we got here, but it feels like I've spent the whole time sick. It was raining, and we got there in the late afternoon, so we just wandered around with out a plan. Saw some crazy dressed kids, but everybody was on the move cause of the rain. …
