I arranged the Private Otavalo Tour for Saturday February 14, 2009. I received a confirmation email stating we would be picked up at our hotel as it was a private tour. They forgot to pick us up. After several phone calls we were told that the guide and driver were waiting at a different location. We finally left over an hour late. The company did not take any responsibility for their error. They only asked us to book more tours with them. Not a chance! At least acknowledge your mistake and offer some type of compensation. If I had not wanted to go to the Otavalo market I would have just forgot about the trip. I cannot believe the guide or driver did not have the foresight to call when no one showed up 30 minutes after the scheduled time. Makes me wonder if they were ever waiting. BEWARE!

This tour operator in Quito is really great and i would highly recommend them for trips to the Galapagos Islands. We were recommended them by a friend of ours, and they were really helpful in the planning and organising of our trip to the Galapagos Islands.

We emailed them from the UK before we left for South America and they replied to all our emails with detailed information. The trip was pretty expensive but was worth every penny and we had a great week on the boat the Encantada.

We mainly spoke to John, who moved to Quito a few years ago and started this business. If you arrive in Quito and are thinking of going to the Islands then pop along and see them, as they will help out and may have some last minute deals for you.
