I liked this hostel a lot. It wasn't really expensive, and there were a lot of other travelers there. They give you a good breakfast in the morning, and have a bar in the basement for people staying in the hostel.

We stayed at hotel Hans Brinker twice. The reason is that it suited our needs perfectly. It offers rooms for groups which are arranged very simply. If you need some more space or if you attach importance to poshness, Hans Brinker is not your hotel. There is also a bar/club in the basement.

The Hans Brinker hotel at the "kerkstraat" in Amsterdam is known as a very good youth hostel in a good neighbourhood in the Center of Amsterdam.

I was awoken early by the girls wishing to say their goodbyes, which was nice albeit it slightly alarming when my tent started violently shaking. I thought to myself this is it the worlds about to end, then i heard them sweet swiss voices and new ev…… 6th August - This will get boring i reckon :P |

Ok, so I made it home, only 24 hours later than planned. Actually not even 24 hours, more like 19 hours but, seemed much longer. It seems strange to see a city after over a week of the natural world.
I can soon forget the tramatic return trip but, …… Am I home? Are you sure? |
