Arriving in Hanoi at the beginning of the Tết festival was quite an experience. I'd heard the entire city would be pretty much shut down for about a week... and they weren't kidding! I've never been to an Asian city as "dead" as Hanoi during Tết. Sure... some of the main drags…

Hi. On 4/2/09 two girls from little Denmark is on their way east to Vietnam, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. We are back in Denmark 10/6/09 so we have four months to explore. It couldn't be better (yes more time but we don't have enough money ;) ) We have a month in Vietnam and Singapore + Malaysia and two months in Australia.

Lexi and I had to wake up pretty early to get breakfast, about 6:45
I think. Breakfast was a simple meal of toast, egg and some fruit, some
of the other people on the boat did not join us all for breakfast as
