Little boutique hotel Dec 07, 2010
We recently stayed at the Cozy Hotel on Hang Be Street in Hanoi, Viet Nam. When I first saw the doorway leading up some narrow stairs I wondered if we had made a terrible mistake in booking with them.

But once we got inside we found a cute little boutique hotel. The rooms are small but very clean and looked just freshly painted and everything new. The bathroom was a good size with a marble tile lined shower and a new modernistic sink bowl. The downstairs restaurant where free breakfast was served was clean and nicely decorated with a fountain and framed, black and white photos of old Hanoi on the walls. A small library and free computer too. The food was good - a good selection plus a huge room service menu. Internet is also available in the rooms. THe lobby and hallways are all decorated with pieces of interesting art. Service was good and most employees spoke at least a little English. Airport service is available at $15 which is not a bad rate as the airport is a long way from town. We paid about $25 per night for 2 nights and got the third night free. I think that was a special promotion so may not always be available. If we were to go back to Hanoi we would definitely stay there again. Just a few steps from the lake and the famous Water Puppet Theatre. It is located also at the edge of the old quarter so the markets are handy too.
