Affter read review on Travbuddy, I decided to booking from Hanoi Charming hotel website with Superior Room for 22$US. I stayed 3 nights in Hanoi Charming hotel and booked tour to Halong. I was extremely impressed by this excellent hotel. the room rates are very reasonable, breakfast included, free WIFI and free internet access together with computers are also provided. Location is excellent as it's located in the middle of Old Quarter and within walking distance of various Hanoi attractions. The staff is excellent and helpful. I recommend it to every tourist.

We stayed at the Charming in june 2009. We found it to be a vey good budget hotel. It is very close to the Old Quarter...just across the road...a challenge in itself !! Found the staff very friendly and eager to help. Our rooms were on the 4th floor and had windows and were very comfortable and were quiet. We ate at the restaurant several times and found the pricing and quality very good. The bar and coffee shop on the ground floor had a happy hour which we took advantage of a few times. Highly recommend to tourists who want a reasonably priced hotel.

  Charming!  Thanks ‘Nemesis’ hotel. It rains pretty incessantly our first day in Vietnam’s capital.  Mike and I take a sodden stroll about the Old Quarter.  The ‘Temple of Literature’.  And in all the time I end up spending here (thumb… Hanoi : 'Drip Drop. Tic Toc. Ho Ho. Beep Whistle. Boom Boom.'
