Hanging out on Father's Day - Irvine - TravBuddy

I just spent my morning with my very awesome church family. Today in the U.S. (that's all I know of) we celebrate Father's Day. We honor the men who love us, take care of us and provide for us. My father past away when I was only 15months old. So I knew little of him. I have always considered my father, our Lord God. So today I, along with 1500 people(just at the 11am service alone), celebrated Father's Day at church. We had awesome "Dad's Rootbeer" Floats, they had a silly game of fishing and golf on the lawn along with some hot cars and motorcycles. It was definitely a day of celebration all around. I couldn't ask for a better church. If you're ever around the area, Mariners Church is an experience not like any other. So drop by and say hi... no worried dressing up. Board shorts and flip flops always welcome! Hope all you dad's had a great day today!
Oh and if you happen to be in the area on July 13, our church purchased 2000 tickets to the Angels vs. Rangers baseball game. I'll be posting pics of that also!
