Hampton Inn and Suites - DOG FRIENDLY - Reviews - Hays

Well, there isn't anything that exciting about Hays, Kansas.  It's in the middle of nowhere and about 90 miles south of the geographical middle of nowhere, Smith Center, KS. However, one of the major setbacks we always encounter while on the road is finding places that allow pets.  The Hampton Inn of Hays is pet friendly and probably one of the 'nicer' accomodations you'll find this side of the sunflower state, even though it won't earn you any 'Brownie Points' for doing anything adventurous.  Free high-speed internet and a quality complementary breakfast make the stay worthwhile.  Plus, it's a great stopping point if you're headed to or fro the great state of Colorado on I-70.
