Hampton Inn Gatlinburg

The Hampton Inn Gatlinburg is an excellent place to stay while visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains.
The hotel has 97 rooms, with about half with a mountain view, and half with a creek view. I usually try to get a room on the 4th floor, so I get a better view of the mountains and the city.
Last time I was there (2006) they were undergoing a renovation....they were putting in the new "cloud 9" beds.
Hotel is towards the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, on the main drag. You can leave your car parked at the hotel and walk wherever you want to.....which is nice, because parking is at a premium in Gatlinburg.
Nice staff, nicely decorated lobby, excellent breakfast bar.....eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, donuts/danish, coffee, juices, milk....also has an outside deck overlooking the creek to have breakfast on. Outdoor pool/hot tub.
Everytime I go to Gatlinburg, I always stay here. I am kind of partial to room 424.....always get this room! I request it!
Of the 10 years I have been staying here, I have never gone wrong!!
