Hampton Inn Downtown San Diego

Just another great stay with my lovely Hampton Inn brand... = ) There is just one major negative, and all hotels on Pacific Hwy in downtown are the trains. We stayed in a room which is a corner room that faces the tracks. Hahaha, so it awoke me a few times in the night, but the comfy bed made it a close wash...

The hotel itself is a little old but it makes up for it in customer service. Upon check in I didn't get that weird vibe of having to be someone I am not, just the front desk crew made me feel comfortable. They offered plenty of local things to do as well as good local eats. Being in the downtown area it was nice to have a helping hand. Needing to get up early they were able to set me up a few wake up calls, since I usually press the snooze button on the first one.

Room was average size with clean linen and the bathroom was nice and had a shower that could fit 3 of me's in it... = 0 Of course soap and all that was included, I also forgot my toothpaste, they deliever it quite quickly. Also included was breakfast and a complementary shuttle to and from the airport!
