Hampton Easton Suites Columbus Reviews

Jan 12, 2008
Upon arriving in the Columbus area, I wasnt sure exactly where the hotel was located within the city as I was strictly going off my GPS system. As I approached the city from the west, I found myself passing the downtown area and heading towards the north part of Columbus. About 5-10 minutes of driving north my exit approached. I was pleasantly surprised at the surroundings that I found myself in. The area was more upscale, very busy with lots of shops around. Following the GPS system I approached the hotel from the back, in which all you noticed was a very very large brick building. Upon arriving in the front of the Hotel, it was a pleasant surprise as to the beauty of it. (Remember I was strictly going off of GPS) Entering the lobby, you found yourself in grand style. An open lounging area (Cappuccino’s Coffee Bar) that served cappicinos, coffees, teas and a wide variety of martinis. The seating offered you many choices...tables, around the fire place, all comfy, cozy and relaxing.
The rooms offered lots of room to move around, comfy beds, oversized bathrooms and a great view of the area. In the hotel itself, the choice of dining was The Dining Room or the Easton Sports Club, of course you also had room service. We opted for room service the first night, in which more food came than what we could eat. But after sampling chicken fingers, a grilled chicken wrap and chicken ceasar salad....couldnt find a complaint about any of them.
What to do...this is a shoppers dream come true. Directly across the street from the hotel began the shopping experience within walking distance. You will literally find any store you could want. Again, all in walking distance. And everyone knows, where there is shopping, you will also find plenty of places to eat. So if your looking for a wonderful hotel where you can do lots of shopping and eating...a stay at the Hilton @ Easton in Columbus Ohio is a great choice.
