Hamilton Hotel Seoul

The Hamilton is in the heart of Itaewon. Just where you want to be! All taxi drivers know it and with its 4 star rating you are guaranteed great service and perfectly crispy white sheets. The service is excellent and they will even store your luggage after you have checked out and are waiting around waiting to catch a late flight. For only about $60 each a night it really is the perfect location but remember to book in advance! For some weird reason you can't just walk in and ask for a room!

I thought the Hamilton was expensive for what you get, but then again, Seoul is generally expensive. The room for the price was small and only in good condition, but not great. What annoyed me is they nickel and dime you for everything. For example internet and the swimming pool cost extra. Also non-hotel guest can pay the same to use the swimming pool, so it is very crowded. Rooms above the swimming pool can be a bit noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful. They do offer a money exchange service, but the rates are better if you go to one of the small mom and pop exchange places near the hotel. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Itaewon with a subway stop right in front of the hotel.There are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and Itaewon is a big touristy shopping area.
