Hamilton Gardens
Hamilton Gardens Reviews
Cultural gardens Jan 30, 2009
The gardens are a quite popular attraction in Hamilton and even in the Waikato region.
It's a nice place to relax and to get to know new things about foreign cultures because the architecture and the gardens are influenced by international spirits. Children might like the countless possibilities of hiding places while parents and grandparents appreciate the neat atmosphere along the footpaths. Later the whole family can have a nice picnic nearby the pond or enjoy a good lunch at the cafe. The gardens are sometimes even sets for different theatre plays like 'Romeo and Juliet'. Go for a walk and after a while you might discover the perfect place for the balcony scene. The gardens look a bit different in every season. That means it doesn't matter when you come around for a visit because there are always neat surprises to explore. So don't forget to bring your camera! |

The festival Mardi Gras… Cambridge and surrounds |

I spent a few nights there catching up with old friends and making new ones.
Besides the fact that most of my friends live in Hamilton, there is not much else there...unless you enjoy gardens....then you can entertain yourself at the Hamilton Gardens but that's not really what I am in to! … First stop: Hamiltron |

After a little while walking through the different themes of the Hamilton Gardens there was no time left to do anything except hit the motorway and drop the now filthy hire car off at Auckland Airport. I was feeling sad my time in New Zealand was at its end, and an awful Qantas in-flight movie starring… Hamilton – Auckland – Sydney |
