Wow, where do I start? Well on Thursday we headed up to Haliburton on the coach, not really knowing what to expect, so a little bit nervous. The journey took about 4 hours and was fine, no ex convicts or anything like what we had been warned about! The closer we got the more snow there was and the fewer people on the bus, until we got to the end of the line and it was only us and one other guy left. Luckily the motel was just by the stop or I don’t know what we would have done! We found the...

The journey wasn't too bad, I had my MP3 with me so I was listening to music most of the way and once we got close we starting to see proper snow so we got all excited and peered out the windows grin...

We got up early this morning so Amy and David can take us to the airport, then they drove and we flew to meet them at Stanhope airport about 30 minutes north by air. Since it takes 2 hours to drive, we took our time, and actually flew to the island airport City Center in Toronto first, and got a great view of the lake shore and then took off for Stanhope. There were many lakes and patches of colorful trees below, we flew at only 3500 feet so we could see the ground pretty well. We got there a...
