The beautiful town of Halfway is located in eastern Oregon, nestled in the Cornucopia Mountain Range and just 17 miles from Hells Canyon and the Idaho state border. With a population less than 350, you will find the locals friendly and helpful to visitors.

With lodging available ranging from motel to B&B, there is something for everyone who visits.

In the winter you will find more snowmobiles on the road than cars and in the fall, the area is busy with hunters! During the summer you will find the town overflowing with visitors during the Baker County Junior Rodeo and the Baker County Rodeo. This self-sustaining community is mostly farm land and ranches and you will find many participants on the rodeo circuit are locals!
