Half Moon Bay Vacation Guide
Half Moon Bay is a beautiful city. Its coastal location is just 40-45 minutes outside of San Francisco. Beaches in this city include but are not limited to Half Moon Bay State Beach, Dunes Beach, Pescadero Beach, and Gray Whale Cove State Beach.
It is the perfect place for visiting tourists to vacation as well as a place for those locals from nearby cities to go who are unaware of the calm, and relaxing attributes that Half Moon Bay has to offer. Half Moon Bay is known and famous to be the chosen spot for the Art and Pumpkin Festival each year in October.
Out-of-towners come and engage in activities such as horseback riding along the beach, put in some tee time at the golf course, reserve a camping spot at Francis Beach campgrounds to camp out or just take time to take in and absorb the stunning atmosphere.

Halfmoon Bay is an excellent beach to visit if you and your friends want to do something outdoor-sey for a change. You can swim/surf, play with your dog, drink and then take a nap on the soft sand, play football, whatever you like. Watching the sunset is also an added bonus.
