Half Moon Bay is a beautiful city. Its coastal location is just 40-45 minutes outside of San Francisco. Beaches in this city include but are not limited to Half Moon Bay State Beach, Dunes Beach, Pescadero Beach, and Gray Whale Cove State Beach.

Halfmoon Bay is an excellent beach to visit if you and your friends want to do something outdoor-sey for a change. You can swim/surf, play with your dog, drink and then take a nap on the soft sand, play football, whatever you like. Watching the sunset is also an added bonus.
